Role: SAP MDG Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant to design, implement, configure, and support SAP MDG solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in master data governance, data modeling, workflows, integration, and SAP MDG implementation/support projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions based on business requirements.
• Work on Master Data Governance processes for Customer, Vendor, Material, and other master data domains.
• Configure MDG data models, workflows, UI, validations, derivations, and business rules.
• Develop and maintain BRF+ rules for validations, derivations, and governance processes.
• Configure Change Request (CR) processes, workflow steps, approvals, and agent determination.
• Work with SAP MDG Central Governance and integration with SAP S/4HANA or ECC systems.
• Develop and support data replication using DRF (Data Replication Framework).
• Handle data migration, mass processing, and master data quality requirements.
• Analyze and resolve production issues and provide technical support.
• Work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, configuration documents, and support documentation.
• Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG.
• Good knowledge of MDG Data Modeling and Governance Processes.
• Experience with BRF+.
• Strong understanding of MDG Workflow and Change Request configuration.
• Experience with DRF and data replication.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA / ECC.
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI configuration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ABAP for MDG enhancements and technical developments.
• Understanding of Web Services, APIs, IDocs, and integration concepts.
• Experience with master data domains such as Material, Customer, Vendor, and Business Partner.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP MDG certification is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, and production support projects.
