SAP Integration Technical Consultant
- Pay Rate: $103.37/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 year

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Senior SAP Integration Technical Consultant in this role will support, maintain, and enhance enterprise SAP integration services within our recently modernized RISE with SAP and S/4HANA environment. In this role, you will act as a senior technical subject matter expert providing Level 3 sustainment, solution delivery, and production support across the SAP BTP Integration Suite and related enterprise integration platforms. You will work collaboratively across business, functional, application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor teams to design secure, scalable solutions and troubleshoot complex production issues.
Responsibilities
- Production Support & Sustainment: Deliver tier-3 production support, independently researching, investigating, and resolving complex SAP integration and PI/PO issues. Document resolutions and maintain high system performance standards.
- Technical Solution Design: Design high-quality, sustainable integration solutions by identifying and presenting business process improvements and technical options aligned with industry best practices andstandards.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work: Partner closely with internal application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and external vendor teams to manage integration points securely and efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend, test, and implement enhancements to existing integration solutions, standards, processes, and guidelines to drive operational excellence.
- Leadership & Guidance: Provide technical guidance, advice, consulting, and mentorship to junior and peer consultants on work management, architecture, and technology best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of progressive working experience in SAP integration development, project implementation, and production support.
- Minimum 5 years in a tier-3 production support role collaborating with cross-functional technology teams.
- Minimum 5 years of end-to-end SAP integration experience covering the complete lifecycle from requirements gathering to production turnover.
- Minimum 5 years of SAP PI/PO development and administrative experience (NetWeaver 7.5+ or equivalent).
- Must-Have Technical Skills
- Hands‑on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, integration flows, adapters, mappings, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong background in API‑based integration, secure connectivity, and enterprise integration support.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within a complex, multi‑middleware enterprise environment.
- Expert knowledge of integration concepts, Java development, and ITIL methodologies.
- Familiarity with incident and change management software (e.g., BMC ITSM, SAP Solution Manager 7.2+).
- Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, suited for a professional corporate environment.

- Experience with SAP Integration Suite Advanced Event Mesh and event‑driven architecture.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
