Job Description

Our client, a leading and highly regarded brand within the premium beauty and personal care sector, is seeking to appoint an experienced Salon Manager to lead their flagship Dublin location.

This is a senior leadership role overseeing a large, high-performing team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The successful candidate will bring strong operational, commercial and people management expertise, along with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Role Summary

The Salon Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day management of a flagship operation, ensuring excellence across team leadership, client service, and commercial delivery.

This role requires a hands-on leader with the ability to manage a dynamic team, drive operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards associated with a premium brand offering.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of 30+ professionals to maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development of staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage employee relations, including conflict resolution where required.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and engaged team environment.

Operational Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of a high-volume, premium service environment.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and operational teams.
  • Maintain high standards of service delivery, presentation and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvements to operational processes.

Commercial & Business Performance

  • Monitor and drive key business KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Oversee stock management, inventory control and retail performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and optimise business performance.
  • Manage budgets and support overall financial performance of the business.

Client Experience

  • Ensure delivery of a high-end, “white-glove” customer service experience.
  • Manage client relationships, including handling escalations or complex queries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence and premium service.

Key Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior management role within hospitality, luxury retail, or a high-end service environment.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams (25+ staff).
  • Strong experience in HR and people management, including performance management and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing business performance and KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within the beauty, wellness or luxury services sector.
  • Exposure to high-end, premium brand environments.
  • Experience managing stock, retail performance or multi-revenue streams.
