Job Description

Role Overview The Salesforce Business Analyst is a hands‑on, business‑facing Salesforce expert who partners closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions. The role blends technical configuration with business process improvement and serves as a trusted advisor to Business Process Owners (BPOs) and users while contributing to the ongoing evolution of the Salesforce platform. Embedded in a small business team and partnered with IT, you will be a strong advocate for the Commercial teams and additional users such as product management and sample fulfillment, ensuring their voices are heard and the platform is continuously improved to enhance user experience and efficiency for a 360 view of the customer.

Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Advocacy & Partnership: build deep‑rooted trust with BPOs and cross‑functional leaders by acting as their internal consultant and Salesforce expert; represent their interests during technical discovery and ensure all system changes align with strategic goals. User Experience (UX) Champion: proactively identify friction, frustration or confusion points in daily workflows and design enhancements that enable users to be more efficient and effective in the system. Business Process Engineering: analyze, map, and optimize end‑to‑end business processes; challenge existing workflows and identify efficiencies that improve the user and customer experience, engineering them into Salesforce with declarative tools or code for small‑to‑moderate changes.

Executing On Strategy: report to the Product Owner, Salesforce Excellence Lead; execute strategy in concert with the Product Owner and collaborate seamlessly with internal Salesforce IT and external IT partners. Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud: develop deep understanding of CPQ and partner with technical development to capture pipeline, customer contracts, and pricing integration with SAP. Data Strategy & Flow: navigate BPOs through complex data challenges; understand the architecture of data flows and links within the system to ensure data integrity and actionable reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: minimum 4+ years of hands‑on experience in Salesforce administration or development with a proven track record of driving system adoption in a fast‑paced environment. Technical Proficiency: Salesforce Administrator certification required; Platform App Builder or Developer certifications highly preferred. Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Revenue Cloud architecture and configuration.

Deep expertise in Salesforce Flow required, including designing, building, and maintaining automation; working knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components is preferred. Experience with integrations with SAP and other business tools. Business Acumen: exceptional ability to translate “business speak” into “technical requirements”; comfortable leading discovery sessions, understanding value creation, and presenting solutions to executive stakeholders.

Data Expertise: strong skills in data modeling and management, including Data Loader and relational database concepts; knowledge of master data concepts and processes to maintain integrity. Passionate and Results‑Oriented: genuine customer‑first mindset, energized by improving the customer experience and making users’ jobs easier through better technology. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $90,000 - $132,000.
