Sales Support Engineer

As Sales Support and Quote Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting strategic growth and expanding the Share of Wallet across our existing and new customers. This role focuses on developing costings and quotes for customers with technical breakdown and drawings control. You will collaborate cross-functionally to align commercial initiatives with company goals, while acting as a key ambassador of the TR value proposition. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Growth & Market Expansion • Analyzing technical specifications and production capabilities to prepare detailed cost breakdowns and pricing proposals. • Analysis conversion rate background (including respond, pricing etc) • Working closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective solutions. • Maintaining and updating the quotation database with pricing records and historical data. • Communicating with sourcing and CS team to obtain competitive pricing on materials and services. Customer Relationship Management • Conduct regular quote reviews with internal stakeholders to assess performance and uncover growth opportunities. • Ensure target price and condition are met with support from Sourcing and internal stakeholders Sales Execution & Profitability • Support on Samples, Pre-sales and related activities to Sales department upon request Sales enquires • Respond to sales inquiries with timely, effective solutions. • Implement price adjustments in line with market conditions and company policy. Skills and Experience Ability to interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings and technical specs to build precise, labor-inclusive Bills of Materials (BOM). Proven experience in "Should-Cost" modeling, margin protection, and managing high-volume pricing databases. Skilled at analyzing quote-to-win conversion rates and implementing market-driven price adjustments. Expert at negotiating with Sourcing and Production teams to secure competitive pricing and ensure technical feasibility.
