Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role is based in New York, NY. The Sales Specialist will engage clients on the sales floor, provide exceptional service, and guide clients through product features, styling options, and purchase decisions. Responsibilities include achieving individual and store sales targets, building long-term client relationships, managing client follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions.
The role also involves supporting visual merchandising, ensuring the boutique environment is pristine and aligned with brand standards, and assisting in inventory handling. The Sales Specialist will collaborate with management on promotional activities, participate in ongoing product and brand training, and contribute to a positive, performance-focused team culture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills focused on delivering a luxury client experience and building relationships.
- Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including consultative selling and closing techniques in a retail or luxury environment.
- Candidates should possess Sales Management and Training skills, such as supporting team performance and sharing product knowledge with colleagues.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior luxury retail or jewelry experience, familiarity with POS systems and CRM tools, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and strong professional ethics, reliability, and attention to detail are highly valued.
- Salary 25-35 $/h + commission
