Job Description
Leica Biosystems — Sales Specialist (Digital Pathology) Leica Biosystems, part of Danaher, focuses on cancer diagnostics. The Sales Specialist is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenue and market share in the Pacific Northwest territory. The role is U.S.-based, fully remote, supporting WA, OR, ID, MT, WY; priority to Washington or Oregon locations.
In This Role Achieve annual product sales goals while collaborating with the local assigned team. Maintain an accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC. Deliver high customer satisfaction through sales and support assistance, coordinating product demos, installs, and customer training.
Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies. Develop product knowledge, including DBS and LBS tools such as Power BI, Showpad, and Territory Business Reviews. Essential Requirements Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant sales experience (or equivalent). Proven time‑management skills. Proven contract negotiation and high‑level selling experience, or experience selling in a matrixed environment.
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements Ability to travel 50–75%, mostly in territory.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 15 lbs; occasional walking, standing, and other physical tasks. Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Travel by car and flying in and out of airports with possible long wait times. Preferred Experience Excellent customer relations/service skills, goal oriented, results driven. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team. Salary & Benefits Annual salary range: $120,000 – $140,000. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
