The company is in an active growth phase and building out its sales function for the first time, which means the person who steps into this role has a real chance to shape how it’s done.Why This Role Stands Out Get in early at a company that is actively expanding its customer base and adding contracts Sell a specialized, technical product with real demand in the manufacturing sector Small company means your results are visible and your impact is real Full benefits, 401(k) match, and a tight-knit team that takes care of its people Performance-based bonus structure tied to KPIs being developed alongside this role What You’ll Be Doing Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across manufacturing, fabrication, and industrial sectors Build and maintain relationships with existing accounts while actively developing new ones Understand customer machines, materials, and tooling needs to recommend the right solutions Manage your own pipeline, follow up consistently, and close with urgency Represent the company at trade shows, customer sites, and industry events Work closely with shop leadership to align customer requirements with production capabilities Track activity, report on pipeline progress, and hit agreed-upon KPIs Bring feedback from the field back to the team to help shape product and service offerings What You Bring Background in industrial tooling, cutting tools, or related manufacturing sales is strongly preferred Operations or shop floor experience is a significant plus.

This role requires someone who understands how machines and materials work, not just someone who can give a presentation Proven ability to prospect, develop relationships, and close. Technical knowledge alone is not enough. Self-starter who manages their time well and doesn’t need to be pushed to pick up the phone Comfortable calling on manufacturing plants, machine shops, and production facilities Ability to learn the product line quickly and speak credibly to customers about their needs CRM experience preferred.

Strong organizational habits required.
