Job Overview Our client, a leading provider of industrial services, is seeking a driven and results‑oriented Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage a regional territory. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and delivering tailored service solutions to customers across manufacturing, energy, and industrial markets. We’re seeking a Permanent Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the thriving construction industry.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales, contracts, pumps, and boilers. Salary Salary: $110,000 – $170,000 per year Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Responsibilities Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory or area.
Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Negotiating and closing agreements with clients. Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and suggesting improvements.
Preparing detailed reports on sales volumes, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Representing the company in all sales meetings and trade shows. Understanding and promoting company programs and products.
Collaborating with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to meet client needs. Staying updated with new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board. Providing feedback to the team and company leadership regarding customer insights and expectations.
Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the construction industry. Proven experience in dealing with contracts, pumps, and boilers. Strong knowledge of sales techniques and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach.
