About the role

Ausrock Drilling Tools Pty Ltd is now seeking for an experienced and energetic Sales Professional who will strengthen our team with their extensive knowledge of the drilling and mining industry. The successful candidate will have proven sales and drilling industry knowledge to go along with a large industry network.

Bringing with you an extensive network and having the ability to reach sales targets, you will utilize your expertise in the drilling industry to deliver world class rock tools and unmatched customer service to existing and future customers. The right candidates will need to work autonomously and must be able to plan, develop and execute sales strategies whilst building strong customer relationships.

This role is based in Landsdale, Perth WA. This role is comprised of frequent travel to support customer projects, predominately in Western Australia, however if required there may need for interstate on international travel.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing effective sales plans and strategies to achieve company revenue targets
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, leveraging your industry expertise and network
• Analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and optimize sales performance
• Developing and executing targeted campaigns
• Providing regular reporting and updates to senior management on sales activities and performance
• Delivering exceptional customer service and drive sales
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations

What attributes will be required

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in a similar role or industry
• Extensive drilling products and consumable knowledge
• Experience with DTH and THH drilling applications
• Prioritizes customer service and support
• Have great communication and negotiating skills
• Excellent computer skills with experience in MYOB an advantage
• WA Drivers License, Forklift license a bonus
• Ability to coordinate and support customer product trials
• The ability to develop new business
• The ability to work autonomously, multitask and prioritize your time effectively
• Must pass pre-employment D&A test
