We are looking to recruit a dynamic, commercially minded, enthusiastic and flexible Salesperson for our Knaresborough Store.Exposure to a furniture retail background would be advantageous, however, not essential. You must be willing to work Monday to Sunday (5 days per week).

Key Responsibilities:

Selling quality furniture and other household products to our customers

Providing a first class level of customer service

Greeting and liaising with customers

Negotiating prices

Having an in-depth product knowledge

Processing orders and agreeing delivery arrangements

Obtaining and inputting information via computer systems

Checking stock levels

Cash handling and banking procedures

Experience / Requirements for the role :

Be computer literate and good with figures

Have a flexible approach regarding work and working hours

Have the ability to work well as a member of a team and to work using your own initiative

Have a smart appearance and be well organised with a pleasant manner

Be comfortable dealing with customers face to face and via telephone

Further Information :

You must be willing to work Monday to Sunday (5 days out of 7 which may include weekends and bank holidays).
