Sales Ledger Clerk - Booker Group

Location: Deeside, Clwyd, CH5 2LEShift Hours: 38 hrs per week (Monday - Friday)Salary: Competitive

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our busy Sales Ledger team. In this role, you will help ensure the efficient processing of customer invoicing, master data updates, and payment queries, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.


What Youll Be Doing

  • Keeping the flow of Sales Ledger transactions moving efficiently and within agreed timescales.
  • Processing customer invoicing, master data, and payment queries promptly, aiming to resolve requests within 24 hours.
  • Working closely with colleagues in a fast-paced team environment, offering support and sharing knowledge to achieve team objectives.
  • Delivering a high level of accuracy and customer service while helping to minimise disruption to business operations.

Role Responsibilities

  • To provide all processing functionalities relating Direct Debit runs within the Sales Ledger department.
  • To deliver an efficient & effective service to both internal branches & external customers at all times.
  • To process unpaid cheques returned from the bank and reconcile to internal bank accounts.
  • Preparing journals using Excel
  • Allocation of Cash payments received from customers.
  • Dealing with D&B Alerts
  • To ensure completion of bank statement payment allocations including National Accounts, BRP Depot delivered and Debt Collection payments.
  • Account Amendments for Addacs and Arudd
  • Any other duties as reasonably required to fulfil your responsibilities.

Skills

Technical / Professional

  • SAP experience will be considered advantageous
  • Excel skills are essential
