Lead Sales Associates play a crucial role in providing Mounds’ award‑winning customer service. On the job training is provided. A typical shift includes:

• Acting as Manager on Duty ( if Manager or Assistant Manager are not on site).
• Performing opening/closing managerial procedures
• Delegating and following up on tasks
• Completing daily, weekly and monthly managerial procedures
• Training other employees as needed
• Operating a forklift safely and within established procedures
• Ensuring compliance with safety, security and emergency procedures
• Resolving and documenting customer complaints
• Resolving and documenting employee issues
• Reporting and documenting maintenance/repair issues to corporate
• Cashiering and other register duties
• Discussing Mounds brands and benefits with customers
• Discussing current promos and featured products with customers
• Replenishing and rotating stock as directed by the manager on duty
• Fronting and tidying merchandise
• Attending to damaged product per policy
• Ensuring the store is neat, clean and organized throughout the day
• Other duties as assigned by Store Manager /Assistant Manager

Qualifications

Part-Time applicants must work a minimum of 25 hours per week. Availability to work shifts Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm and a Saturday or Sunday shift every other weekend is required.

Full-Time applicants must work a minimum of 38 hours per week. Availability to work shifts Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm and a Saturday or Sunday shift every other weekend is required.

• Work experience as a supervisor or keyholder in a retail setting required
• Ability to work 2 closing shifts and 2 opening shift per week (Full-time)
• Ability to follow instructions working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently to shoulder height and reach above eye level (Between 1/3 and 2/3 of shift)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders (Between 1/3 and 2/3 of shift)
• Ability to use pallet jacks and other equipment to move product weighing up to 2000 lbs. (Between 1/3 and 2/3 of shift)
• Cash handling and experience in point‑of‑sale systems required
• Valid driver’s license
