Job Description

Job Summary This position is responsible for meeting sales targets by directly selling or selling through a broker from a portfolio of products. Ability to travel, including overnight stays within the assigned region as necessary. Job Requirements State Insurance License. 2 years’ experience selling group health insurance products with a proven track record or having met HCSC group health new sales goals in a group health insurance sales role and demonstrated ability to sell and close larger sized group accounts. Knowledge of and experience with group managed care products including HMO and PPO processes and trends. 3 years in a position which requires self‑direction, initiative, and decision‑making. Verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to make presentations to groups and/or brokers. Ability to sell, negotiate and close sales. Detail oriented; customer‑service oriented. Ability to travel, including overnight stays within assigned territory.
