Role Description : This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Sales Engineer will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and promote industrial pump and fluid solution offerings to customers.

This role includes conducting technical needs assessments, selecting appropriate products, preparing proposals and quotations, and supporting the full sales cycle from lead generation to order closure. The Sales Engineer will provide technical support during pre- and post-sales activities, coordinate with internal technical and service teams, and ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries and issues. Daily responsibilities also include on-site customer visits, product presentations, basic troubleshooting guidance, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities in line with company processes and targets.

Qualifications or Skills : Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand customer requirements, recommend suitable fluid solutions, and support implementation. Proven Sales and Customer Service skills to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and ensure a positive client experience. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with industrial pumps, fluid-handling systems, and related components; prior experience in industrial or engineering sales is an advantage. Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations in and around Kolkata, and manage time and priorities independently.

Proficiency with basic office and CRM tools for reporting, documentation, and opportunity tracking. Compensation Benefits : Salary as per experience in Sales / BD; past experience in pumps or fluids solutions industry is a plus Travel allowances Medical Insurance
