Sales Engineer

Role: Sales EngineerLocation: North West EnglandContract type: Full time, permanentCarrier now has an opportunity for a HVAC Sales Engineer based in the North West area. You will be responsible for driving sales growth of HVAC products and solutions, combining engineering knowledge with customer-facing sales activities. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and end-users to design and recommend systems that meet client needs.What will I be doing as a Sales Engineer?Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC sector and grow the sales in conjunction with our direct sales teams.Build and maintain relationships primarily with contractors but also engage with consultants and end users.Assist clients with system design and troubleshootingTarget and identify new/potential direct account customers (End User’s, Public Bodies, Installers, M&E) &/or specification accounts (Consultants).Collaborate with vertical and key accounts teams, order management teams and project managers for smooth project delivery.Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical supportRequirementsTechnical knowledge of HVAC industryStrong sales background in HVAC dealing with associated installing contractors & M&E’s &/or specification consultantsStrong understanding of HVAC design principles and equipmentCompetitor knowledgeAbility to read technical drawings and specificationsUK Driving LicenceIT Literate with MS Office skillsBenefitsVery competitive salary OTE + £20k (Uncapped)Company Vehicle or cash allowance25 Days Holiday + bank holidayHoliday purchase schemeCompany PensionCareer progression – we love to build and nurture talent from within, therefore we’ll work with you to achieve your long-term career aspirationsMore about us:Carrier is the world’s leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions.
