Build the European market for a drone that goes where no drone has gone before.

The Terra Xross1 is a GPS-free indoor inspection drone developed and manufactured in Japan by Terra Drone Corporation — one of the world's top-ranked drone solution providers. It navigates confined spaces using LiDAR and visual sensors, capturing 4K footage and real-time 3D point cloud data in environments that were previously inaccessible: storage tanks, vessels, industrial facilities, tunnels.

Terra Inspectioneering is the exclusive European distributor. We've already established a network across France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, the UK, Italy and Germany. Now we need a Sales Director to take ownership of the next phase of growth.

What you'll do

You'll own the full commercial picture for Europe - from closing deals yourself to coaching distributors and shaping the go-to-market strategy.

• Drive and deliver sales targets across Europe
  
• Lead direct sales efforts for key accounts - hands-on, in the field
  
• Manage and support existing distributor partners across 7 European countries and more to come
  
• Actively expand the distributor network into new territories
  
• Represent the Xross1 at trade shows, industry events and customer demonstrations
  
• Capture market and customer feedback and translate it into actionable input for the development team in Japan
  
• Lead the customer support team based in Vlissingen, Netherlands
  
• Drive business development for Terra Inspectioneering's offshore inspection services - identifying new clients and opportunities across the European offshore and maritime sector
  

You report to the General Manager of Terra Inspectioneering, and work in close alignment with the international sales teams of Terra Drone in Japan, the USA and potentially other Terra Drone group companies.

As Terra Drone continues to develop and launch new drone products, the Sales Director will play a key role in bringing these to the European market - making this a role with a long-term growth trajectory, not just a single-product assignment.

Your team

You’ll be joining a company of 25 people who are genuinely passionate about solving complex inspection challenges. At Terra Inspectioneering you'll work closely with our inspection services team and customer support team, both based in Vlissingen - experienced drone operators and engineers who know confined space inspection inside out.

On the product side, 4 of our colleagues are dedicated to the Xross1, with a further ~20 engineers at Terra Drone in Japan working on development. You'll have direct access to that expertise when translating customer feedback into product improvements.

How we work

Our home base is Vlissingen, where you'll spend time with the team on a regular basis. Beyond that, this role is largely field-based - you'll be at customer sites, distributor meetings and industry events across Europe. We believe in flexibility and trust: the schedule is yours to shape around what the job demands, in coordination with your manager.

What we’re looking for

Must-have:

• 
  
• Proven track record in B2B sales and/or business development - you can point to results
  
• Comfortable operating as a player-coach: you close deals yourself and develop others
  
• Fluent in English and Dutch
  
• Based in or willing to relocate to Belgium or South Netherlands
  
• Experience in an industrial sector: oil & gas, maritime, chemical, inspection, or similar
  
• Background in robotics, drones, or advanced inspection technology
  
• Proficiency in German or French
  
• Experience managing indirect sales channels (distributors, resellers)
