Role Description
The Sales Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Portland, OR, responsible for leading sales strategy and revenue growth for Relay Resources. The person in this role will develop and execute sales plans, build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, and identify new market opportunities that align with the organization7s mission of disability inclusion. Daily activities include overseeing the sales pipeline, setting performance targets, coaching and supporting the sales team, and collaborating with operations and marketing to ensure service offerings meet client needs.
The Sales Director will prepare forecasts and reports, participate in contract negotiations, represent Relay Resources at events and meetings, and ensure that all sales activities uphold the organization7s values and inclusive practices.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, including developing strategy, managing pipelines, and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong skills in relationship management, client engagement, and partnership development.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and support a diverse sales team in an inclusive environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with or commitment to disability inclusion, social enterprise, or mission-driven organizations.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and standard sales processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor7s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Capacity to work on-site in Portland, OR, with occasional local travel as needed.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfort with collaborating across departments.
