We're looking for a Sales Director, Mid-Market to lead and scale our sales team as monday.com continues to grow across Australia and New Zealand. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on building high-performing teams, coaching reps, and driving predictable revenue growth in a fast-scaling SaaS environment. You'll own the mid-market sales motion end-to-end โ€” from team development and pipeline strategy to forecasting and executive reporting.

About The Role\n

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives
  • \n
  • Own and deliver on quarterly and annual revenue targets, with accurate forecasting and strong pipeline health across the team
  • \n
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent as the Melbourne team scales
  • \n
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Development, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to align on go-to-market strategy
  • \n
  • Build and refine sales processes, playbooks, and methodologies to improve conversion rates and deal velocity
  • \n
  • Act as an escalation point and executive sponsor on strategic and complex deals
  • \n
  • Use data to identify trends, coach performance gaps, and drive continuous improvement across the team
  • \n
  • Represent the Melbourne office as a visible, hands-on leader within the broader ANZ leadership team
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, ideally within SaaS or another fast-growth tech environment
  • \n
  • A proven track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing sales teams Experience managing to KPIs such as pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and quota attainment
  • \n
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally and at the executive level
  • \n
  • A hands-on, player-coach mentality, with the flexibility to jump into deals when needed Experience selling into the mid-market or Enterprise segment
  • \n
  • Based in Melbourne
