Responsibilities Understanding Client Buying Cycles and Forecasting: Gain insight into your prospective clients' buying cycles to accurately predict potential deal closures and their timing, and effectively communicate your forecasts with stakeholders at all levels. Supporting Squad for Sales Opportunities: Provide support to your squad of Business Development, Marketing, and technical colleagues to identify and create up‑/cross‑sell opportunities within your assigned territory. Activation of New Business Campaigns: Collaborate with IBM Marketing and Sales leadership to activate targeted new business campaigns.

Use‑Case and Proof of Concept Design: Work with your squad to design use‑cases and proofs of concept in response to prospective clients' requests for information (RFIs). Co‑Creation and Presentation of Value Propositions: Collaborate in co‑creating and presenting high‑level value propositions for clients, effectively showcasing product features, functionality and solutions in a highly compelling manner. Required Education High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Required Technical and Professional Expertise Proven Experience in Consultative Technology Sales: Demonstrated experience in consultatively selling technology solutions in the context of complex use‑cases.

Proficiency in Digital Sales Tools and Techniques: High proficiency in utilizing digital sales tools and techniques, including CRM, social media, email, phone and more. Exceptional Communication Skills: Exhibit exceptional communication skills across written and verbal mediums. Strong Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills with proven examples of using data to influence, make business decisions, and drive commercial outcomes.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Comprehensive Understanding of the Power Market: Possess a deep and extensive knowledge of the Power market, allowing you to consult and advise clients, and swiftly establish your reputation as a credible, trusted advisor for your clients (training on IBM's Power offerings will be provided). Location Austin, Texas, United States Compensation Projected Minimum Salary per year: $80,000.00 Projected Maximum Salary per year: $149,000.00 This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change.

The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you. Visa and Work Authorization IBM will not be providing visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future.
