You won't just observe sales, you will do it. From lead generation to client outreach, you will work closely with experienced sales teams and see your efforts convert into real revenue. ROLE OVERVIEW As a Sales Development Representative at Wishtree Technologies, you will be the first point of contact between our business and prospective clients.

Your role is critical; you will identify high-value prospects, open meaningful conversations, and build a healthy, qualified pipeline that fuels our sales team. You'll work in a culture that values curiosity, accountability, and genuine relationship-building over script-following. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Outbound Prospecting: Execute targeted outreach via LinkedIn, cold calls, personalized email sequences, and other channels to connect with decision makers in mid-to-large enterprises.

Lead Qualification: Deeply understand a prospect's business challenges, technology landscape, and buying process, and use that insight to qualify leads efficiently and hand over high-intent opportunities to the sales team. LinkedIn Strategy: Build and maintain a strong LinkedIn presence; leverage Sales Navigator for targeted prospecting, relationship nurturing, and social selling that reflects Wishtree's brand well. Cold Calling Excellence: Make confident, consultative cold calls with a structured approach not a script.

Know how to open a conversation, handle objections, and earn the next meeting. CRM Hygiene & Reporting: Own your pipeline data log, every activity, track lead status, and maintain clean records in CRM tools. Use data to refine your outreach strategy.

Market & Account Research: Research target accounts in-depth: understand their IT pain points, recent initiatives, vendor landscape, and strategic priorities before reaching out. Pipeline Ownership: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for outreach activity, meetings booked, and qualified pipeline generated. Pre-Sales Support & Proposal Collaboration: Collaborate with technical and leadership teams to contribute to proposals, effort estimates, and client presentations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.

Partnership & Referral Development: Identify and help nurture strategic partnerships and referral channels to expand lead generation sources and drive sustainable business growth. SDR/BDR Expectations in 3 months - (Ramp-Up Phase) Goal: Learn the service offerings, ICP, and outbound process while beginning to generate early pipeline. Service & Market Understanding Gain deep understanding of Wishtree services and value proposition.

Learn the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), buyer personas, and target industries. Understand common customer pain points and use cases. Sales Tools & Process Get hands-on on CRM and sales tools (Zoho, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

Learn the outbound sales workflow including prospecting, email outreach, and call scripts. Maintain accurate prospect data and activity tracking in CRM. Prospecting & Outreach Build and research targeted prospect lists aligned with the ICP.

Begin executing outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone. Personalize outreach messaging based on company and role insights. Pre-Sales & Proposal Exposure Shadow and gradually contribute to proposal creation, client presentations, and estimation discussions Understand how client requirements are translated into solutions and proposals Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support early-stage deal conversations Partnership & Referral Development Identify potential partnership and referral opportunities through ongoing prospecting and market research Support initial outreach and relationship-building with potential partners Contribute to building a pipeline beyond direct outbound efforts
