Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Job Description Job Description United Industries Group (UIG Tank Systems), a leading manufacturer with over 55 years of experience serving industrial and municipal markets worldwide, is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate and qualify B2B sales opportunities. As the first point of contact for prospects, the SDR will conduct outbound and inbound outreach, qualify project needs, and schedule meetings for Account Executives. This role is part of a team reporting to the Sales Manager and focuses on accounts with typically long sales cycles in industrial and municipal sectors.

Responsibilities Prospect and research target industrial and municipal accounts Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate leads Qualify leads by assessing scope, budget, timeline, and decision-makers Schedule meetings for Account Executives to advance sales opportunities Follow up on inbound leads and marketing campaign responses Maintain and update CRM system (Salesforce preferred) to track pipeline activity Monitor and report on KPIs including calls made, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or B2B inside sales. Preferably in industrial construction or similar field. Strong communication and phone skills Experience using CRM systems Ability to quickly learn technical or engineered product details Goal-driven and self-motivated with a proactive work ethic Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of sales development experience Industry experience in industrial, construction, or water/wastewater sectors Proficiency in lead qualification, cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach Strong self-motivation and effective communication skills United Industries Group offers a competitive compensation package including base salary plus incentives and bonuses, health insurance, and a clear growth path to an Account Executive role.
