Sales Development Representative - No Sales Experience Needed! Steer offers a suite of software tools for today's automotive repair shop, combining everything a shop needs into one user‑friendly platform. Built on a foundation that started as an online directory, Steer now provides a full CRM marketing suite with text messaging, email automation, direct mail integration, reputation management, appointment reminders, and more.

In August 2024 we acquired AutoOps, a leader in modern, fully integrated scheduling software, further enhancing our suite for auto repair shops. About The Role We’re building a new team in a rapidly growing auto tech vertical—and we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to help us make it happen. In this role, you’ll uncover new business opportunities, run engaging product demos, and guide customers through a fast, consultative sales process.

Location Onsite in Waltham, MA Compensation $90k OTE ($60k base + commission) You Are Dependable, consistent, and deadline‑driven. Professional, courteous, and empathetic toward customers. Resilient in the face of rejection, turning setbacks into growth opportunities.

Experienced in fast‑paced sales environments with a track record of hitting targets. Confident in your ability to sell, build relationships, and communicate effectively. Open to feedback, collaborative, and always learning.

Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and driven by a growth mindset. You Will Make high‑volume outbound cold calls and lead online product demos. Become an expert in our SaaS product and target market.

Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts in our CRM. Use a consultative approach to tailor solutions to prospect needs. You Have In addition to the qualities above, we expect you to: Must Have Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong time management and organizational abilities. Ability to work onsite in Waltham, MA, five days a week. Nice To Have SaaS sales experience.

Automotive industry knowledge. CRM expertise for pipeline management. Experience with a fast sales cycle (1‑2 call close).
