Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales/Warm Leads) Location: East Portland, Oregon (100% on-site for year 1) Salary: Base $60,000 + Uncapped Mthly Commission + Profit Sharing Total Annual Earnings Estimate w/ Commission: Year 1: $77K-$88K, Year 2: $85K-$100K+) Benefits: Medical/Dental (no cost for employees), Vision, Life Insurance, 401K w/ Match, PTO Job Type: Full-Time Core Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm PST Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship: Not available Relocation Assistance: Not Available Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales/Warm Leads) Description Our client in the equipment industry is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their on-site team in East Portland, Oregon. This role focuses on engaging and qualifying very warm, inbound, and marketing-generated leads before transitioning opportunities to the outside sales team. As an early-stage sales role, this position is ideal for a motivated communicator who enjoys customer interaction, is comfortable on the phone, and wants to build a foundation in sales within a structured, supportive environment.
Success in this role comes from strong follow-up, effective qualification, and consistent activity rather than heavy outbound prospecting. Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales/Warm Leads) Responsibilities • Generate new sales opportunities and add qualified leads to the sales funnel (HubSpot) • Leverage warm pipeline from marketing campaigns, sales insights, & research teams • Contact potential customers via phone (target: 35 calls per day) to generate interest • Follow up with potential customers via email with company/product information • Qualify prospects and transition them to the outside sales team • Set up meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives • Build and maintain strong relationships from initial contact to handoff • Assess individual customer situations to learn pain points & identify product solutions • Leverage LinkedIn to message and engage potential customers • Present the company as the first point of contact to potential clients • Provide feedback to improve sales systems and processes Sales Development Representative (Inside Sales/Warm Leads) Qualifications • Prior sales experience OR willingness to learn is required • Professional communication skills (phone/email) are required • Comfort making frequent outbound and inbound phone calls is required • Strong computer skills are required • Ability to work 100% on-site is required (potential for 2 days hybrid after 1 year)
