Job Description: The Sales Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting the business development team and driving revenue growth by managing opportunities, coordinating proposals, and maintaining CRM accuracy.
This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and enjoys building relationships while supporting a structured sales process. This role offers strong growth potential, including the opportunity to move into a Business Development or client-facing role over time. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, tracking all opportunities and client interactions Support proposal development, including coordinating inputs and assisting with writing Track active opportunities and ensure timely follow-up and progression through the sales cycle Coordinate meetings, calls, and schedules for business development and leadership teams Respond to inbound inquiries and assist with outbound prospecting efforts Conduct follow-ups with clients and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met Monitor industry sources for new opportunities and project leads Support networking events, trade shows, and conferences (including occasional in-state travel) Provide reporting on pipeline activity and identify stalled opportunities Qualifications: 2–5+ years of experience in sales support, business development, or client-facing roles Experience within construction, engineering, architecture, or related AEC industry preferred Experience using CRM systems (Zoho or similar) Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe) Proactive, coachable, and growth-oriented mindset Stable work history preferred Additional Details: Contract-to-hire opportunity 100% on-site in Austin, TX (5 days/week) Standard business hours (flexible around 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Occasional travel within Texas (2–4 events per year) Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
