As an Account Manager (AM), you will play a key role in driving sales and managing customer relationships within your assigned area. You will be responsible for selling multi-channel and online solutions to customers looking to sell used equipment, trucks, and other assets. With autonomy in your role, you will develop business strategies, prospects for new customers, and manage existing accounts to maximize revenue.
You will be responsible for proactively prospecting and cold calling new customers, as well as managing existing accounts by being out there meeting customers
Responsibilities
- Sell multi-channel solutions and services through prospecting, pipeline management, and business development within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify their needs and offer tailored solution.
- Identify new market opportunities, conduct high-volume outbound calls to generate new and repeat sales, develop sales strategies, and maintain a client portfolio with regular update.
- Work with internal teams (sales support, Strategic Accounts, Territory Managers, Marketing) to ensure seamless execution of sales and customer service.
- Attend auctions, fairs, events, meet with clients in person in those events, and travel overnight as needed to cover the territory effectively.
- Manage pricing and contract terms with customer
- Adapt sales strategies based on market trends and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience in sales and/or industry-specific will be considered.
- Valid driver's license required.
- red2+ years of experience in account management or inside sa
- Professional level English
- Experience leveraging CRM-tools.
- Strong relationship building skills are essential in this role.
- Heavy machinery experience and/or knowledge of agriculture equipment is an asset.
- A proactive approach combined with a customer 1st attitude.
