Allstaff Office Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Sales /Account Manager for company based in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire. This is office based Monday to Friday 9 am – 4.30 pm (30 minute lunch break). Key Responsibilities Converting inbound enquiries into orders.

Generating new business leads through proactive outbound telesales and converting them into sales. Follow up of every enquiry, quotation and marketing campaign. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high customer retention and promote referrals.

Proactively manage your pipeline and deals through disciplined and consistent use of CRM. Report on sales activity and performance against target in an accurate and timely manner. Sales Admin / Order & Artwork Process – June to September When clients are operating at reduced activity during seasonal periods, the focus shifts to sales administrative, order and artwork processing.

Review and confirm existing artwork to ensure accuracy and consistency. Manage accounts and oversee the proofing process using Proof HQ software. Process customer orders efficiently and ensure all details are accurately entered into the system.

Follow up with customers to chase and confirm proof approval, ensuring deadlines are met so that production can deliver on time. Keep records up to date with regular filing of documents and correspondence. Respond to customer queries and resolve any issues that may arise in a timely manner to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers on fulfilment of orders. Track, manage and report on payment status of all invoices. Proactively follow up on overdue payments.

Resolve any billing issues or discrepancies, ensuring there is no reason for late or non-payment. Keep the Sales Manager and relevant team members updated on the status of unpaid invoices, escalating any potential issues or delays where necessary. Effective debt recovery is essential to the company’s cash flow, making this a critical aspect of your role as an Account Manager.

Key Performance Measures Proactive outbound sales calls made. Customer retention. Value of new business won.

Accurate and timely order entry. Artwork approved to deadline. Payments made on‑time.

Skills and Experience Proven track record in generating new business and retaining existing business, by telephone. Excellent PC skills – Word, Internet, Outlook, Excel, use of CRM & MIS. Strong desire for success.

Self‑disciplined, taking full personal responsibility for own performance. Positive outlook – especially when under pressure. Open communicator with people at all levels, with strong influencing, relationship building and networking skills.

Willingness to work flexibly as required. Maintain a professional but friendly and outgoing demeanour. Possess the ability to ‘think outside the box’ in order to secure a customer’s attention and win sales.

Compensation and Benefits Annual Bonus: Potential 10% of salary based on company and individual performance (paid 75% September and 25% January). Private healthcare insurance. Employer‑contributed pension plan.
