About the role We are looking for a highly skilled RTL Design Engineer with hands-on experience in FPGA design, RTL coding, and digital signal processing. In this role, you will design, implement, simulate, and test high-performance signal processing systems on FPGA platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.

This role requires strong fundamentals in Verilog/VHDL, FPGA architecture, board-level understanding, and timing analysis. A clear understanding of PS–PL and PL-PS data flow, along with the ability to explain implemented logic and algorithms in detail, is essential. Exposure to RF systems and real-world testing environments will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities Develop, simulate, and test signal processing algorithms using Verilog/VHDL Design and implement RTL modules with clear understanding of underlying logic and algorithms Perform board bring-up activities, including interface-level validation and debugging Implement DSP/RF algorithms on Xilinx, Altera, Microchip, and custom FPGA boards Work with FPGA boards, RF daughter cards, and associated hardware interfaces Ensure proper PS to PL and PL to PS data flow implementation and validation Perform CDC (Clock Domain Crossing) checks and Static Timing Analysis (STA) for robust design performance Support hardware-software integration, verification, and performance optimization Interface with RF daughter cards, FMC modules, and high-speed data transfer protocols Work with parallel/memory protocols like AXI, DDR4/DDR5, SPI, and LVDS Collaborate with project teams to meet design specifications and delivery timelines Prepare design documentation, test reports, and verification plans Support debugging, validation, and performance tuning across FPGA platforms Participate in field testing and system validation activities when required Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively within the engineering team Qualification Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics & Communication Engineering from a reputed institution 3–4 years of experience in RTL design and FPGA development (Xilinx, Altera, etc.) Strong knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL for FPGA-based design Hands-on experience with FPGA boards, daughter cards, and board bring-up activities Solid understanding of PS–PL architecture and data flow mechanisms Experience in CDC handling and Static Timing Analysis (STA) Strong understanding of digital design concepts and ability to explain implemented logic clearly Knowledge of DSP, radar systems, and electronic warfare (EW) concepts Familiarity with high-speed interfaces like PCIe, Aurora, Ethernet (10G/25G/100G), Serial RapidIO, USB 3.x Understanding of parallel and memory protocols (AXI4, DDR4/5, SPI, LVDS) Exposure to RF concepts or RF system integration is a plus Field testing or on-site validation experience is an added advantage Additional knowledge in C/C++, MATLAB, or LabVIEW is a plus Strong communication, documentation, and quick learning abilities Employee status and commitments Permanent full-time position located at our Hyderabad office, with regular on-site visits to clients and vendor locations.
