RT Instructor I, II, or Senior Instructor

The Department of Respiratory Therapy invites applications for two full-time appointments at the rank of Instructor I, Instructor II, or Senior Instructor, commencing January 1, 2027, or on a mutually agreed upon date. Review of applications will continue until the positions are filled. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Department seeks an established or emerging scholar with a commitment to excellence in teaching and andragogical development. Exceptional candidates at all levels will be considered.

Required:

• Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a respiratory therapist
• Respiratory Therapy diploma plus a bachelors degree or Respiratory Therapy degree
• Master’s Degree completed or in progress
• Eligible for licensure with the Manitoba Association of Registered Respiratory Therapists
• Have demonstrated experience in formal and/or informal education settings, such as providing public presentations or other means where knowledge was translated to an audience

Duties may include undergraduate teaching, including live lecture, on-line and distance delivery formats, andragogical curriculum and course development, assessment, and service-related activities. The successful candidates will need to exhibit evidence of the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
