Identifies life-threatening emergencies and recommends appropriate interventions.
Refers issues requiring physician interventions to physician in a timely manner; directs patients to appropriate level of care including but not limited to the nearest emergency room, urgent care facility, primary treating physician or selfcare. Demonstrates effective verbal communications skills. Adheres to quality assurance standards.
Serves as resource to triage team members. EDUCATION AND LICENSING Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred. Active unrestricted RN compact licensure required along with two year (2) years of recent clinical practice experience.

For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $34.00-$36.00/hr.
