RF Engineer

Job Title: RF Engineer Location: Chelmsford, MA Shift: 4:00 pm – 2:30 am, Monday – Thursday Duration: 12 months Pay Rate: $64.75/hr Start Date: Immediate Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. Responsibilities Support production of complex multi‑function RF modules used in high‑reliability applications throughout the product life cycle. Analyze and solve challenging technical problems with innovative, effective solutions.

Work independently to identify and resolve operational product issues. Collaborate with hardware, systems, circuit design engineers and technical and manufacturing support personnel. Participate in government security investigations and meet eligibility requirements for classified information access.

Basic Requirements Secret Clearance required to start. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or STEM field) with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience. Experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.

Hands‑on hardware experience. Proficiency with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desired Skills MS in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field. Significant experience in the defense electronics industry. Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low‑noise amplifiers, high‑power amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency‑generation and conversion circuits.

Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques. Technical documentation skills (specifications, schematic drawings, test data). Strong communication skills.

Customer interface experience, including technical presentations. Prior RF design experience. Ability to lead failure investigations on production or technical issues.
