JobTitle: D2C Retention Marketer Role Overview We’re looking for a D2C Retention Marketer who understands that growth doesn’t end at the first order. Your core responsibility will be to increase repeat purchase rate, LTV, and customer engagement using lifecycle marketing channels like WhatsApp, Email, SMS, and CRM automation . This is a hands-on role where you'll be building flows, launching campaigns, analyzing cohorts, and continuously improving retention metrics.

Key Responsibilities Lifecycle & Retention Marketing Own and scale customer retention & repeat purchase programs Design and execute end-to-end lifecycle journeys across: WhatsApp Email SMS Improve key metrics: Repeat purchase rate Customer LT Revenue from retention channels WhatsApp Marketing (Core Focus) Build and manage WhatsApp automation flows : Welcome series Abandoned browse/cart/checkout Post-purchase journeys Reorder & replenishment nudges Run broadcast campaigns with proper segmentation Optimize copy, timing, frequency & CTA for higher conversions CRM, Data & Cohort Analysis Work closely with CRM data to: Segment users based on behavior, purchase frequency & lifecycle stage Perform cohort analysis to identify drop-offs and opportunities Track and report: Repeat rate Engagement metrics Campaign-level revenue contribution Tools & Automation Set up and manage workflows using tools like: Klaviyo (Email & SMS) WhatsApp chatbots & automation tools CleverTap / WebEngage AI chatbots (e.g. Verifast) CRM platforms Ensure automation flows are clean, scalable, and conversion-oriented Skills & Capabilities Strong understanding of D2C customer lifecycle Hands-on experience with: WhatsApp Marketing & Automation Email & SMS marketing CRM segmentation & workflows Ability to think in funnels, cohorts, and retention loops Comfortable with data not just creatives Knows how to balance frequency vs fatigue Tools You Should Have Worked With Klaviyo WhatsApp automation / chatbot tools CleverTap / WebEngage AI chatbots like Verifast CRM platforms (any major D2C stack) Who Will Thrive in This Role You’ve worked with a D2C brand , not just agencies You care about repeat orders more than vanity metrics You enjoy building systems, not just one-off campaigns You can execute fast and iterate faster
