Junior Retention Analyst (Sports Betting) Full time Remote About the Company: Our client is a fast-growing business operating within the sports betting and gaming sector, focused on delivering engaging customer experiences through innovation, data and technology. They are looking for a commercially minded Junior Retention Analyst to join their growing team and help drive player engagement, retention and customer value across sportsbook products. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sport, betting and data who wants to build a long-term career within the gaming industry.

The Role: Working closely with CRM, marketing and commercial teams, you will support the analysis of player behaviour, promotional performance and customer retention activity across sportsbook and gaming products. You will help identify trends, opportunities and insights that improve customer engagement, reduce churn and maximise player lifetime value. This is a hands-on role within a growing business where products, processes and campaigns are still evolving.

There is a strong operational element to the position, including campaign monitoring, reporting, spreadsheet work and real-time CRM activity. The role would suit someone analytical, detail-oriented and commercially curious, who enjoys working with data but also understands sportsbook customers and the wider betting environment. Key Responsibilities: Analyse sportsbook customer behaviour and retention trends Support CRM and lifecycle marketing campaigns through reporting and insight Identify player churn risks and reactivation opportunities Monitor the effectiveness of promotions, bonuses and free bet campaigns Assist with customer segmentation and player value analysis Produce regular dashboards and performance reports Work with internal teams to optimise customer journeys and engagement Support A/B testing and campaign analysis Track key retention KPIs and customer performance metrics Monitor live campaigns and troubleshoot issues where required Support retention activity across sportsbook and casino products Promotional & CRM Activity Examples include: Deposit-based offers Loyalty points and rewards systems In-app/store reward systems Internal notifications and messaging Real-time CRM activity Sports and casino hybrid promotions General retention and lifecycle marketing campaigns Skills & Experience Essential Interest in sports betting and gaming Strong analytical mindset Advanced Excel skills Good attention to detail Strong communication skills Commercial awareness Desirable Previous experience within sportsbook, gaming or iGaming SQL knowledge Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools CRM or retention marketing exposure Understanding of sportsbook customer behaviour Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who: Has around 1 year of experience in a junior CRM, retention, marketing, customer operations or data-focused role Understands sportsbook customers and follows sport closely Is commercially curious and enjoys solving problems Is ambitious, hardworking and happy to get stuck in Enjoys operational, detail-focused work Can work independently within a remote environment Wants to develop a long-term career within gaming and sportsbook analytics Package ยฃ30,000 - ยฃ40,000 basic salary Fully remote working (UK based) Bonus potential Career development opportunities Fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
