Retail Designer Location: Manchester – Hybrid Sector: Retail / Brand Experience / Creative Agency Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 We’re working in partnership with a leading global brand to find a Retail Designer to help shape immersive, customer-first environments. This is a confidential opportunity within a fast-paced creative agency delivering standout work on a high-profile international account. This role suits a designer who naturally thinks in terms of space, flow, and experience—someone who can turn brand thinking into engaging, real-world environments.

The Role As a Retail Designer, you’ll be instrumental in the early concept stages of projects, translating ideas, campaigns, and brand strategies into impactful spatial design concepts. You’ll help define how a global brand shows up across physical spaces—from retail activations through to permanent store environments. Working closely with Creative Directors and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll help drive the visual direction and ensure concepts are carried through into compelling end results.

Key Responsibilities Interpret creative briefs and translate them into innovative spatial concepts Design retail environments that bring brand identity and storytelling to life Map and shape customer journeys within premium physical spaces Develop 3D concepts and collaborate with visualisation teams Work alongside technical designers to ensure ideas are practical and buildable Present concepts clearly, articulating design thinking to stakeholders What We’re Looking For 3–6+ years’ experience in retail design, spatial design, or experiential environments A strong portfolio showcasing concept-led 3D design work Proficiency in 3ds Max and Adobe Creative Suite Excellent spatial planning and layout capabilities Understanding of customer experience and in-store journey design A confident eye for art direction (lighting, materials, composition) Collaborative approach with the ability to influence early-stage ideas Why Apply?
