Position Overview TERRA is seeking an Illinois Licensed Professional Engineer with 10-12 years of experience in Construction Management as a Resident Engineer.

The ideal candidate is familiar with IDOT and Tollway construction projects, results-driven, and capable of managing all aspects of construction activities. Mentoring entry-level staff is also part of the role. Responsibilities Oversee/manage field staff work, create staffing schedules Perform quality control observations and assessments Calculate material, supplies, and equipment needs; inspect material quality Verify and approve purchase invoices Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety rules Recommend design revisions Identify construction constraints and plan measures to address them Prepare construction reports and assessments Qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Illinois PE License IDOT Documentation Certification Valid Driver’s License 10-12 years of construction management experience, including roadway, bridge, drainage, utility work, etc.
