We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer for the Bronx to work on a Park Reconstruction Project, that includes playground reconstruction: play equipment, lighting, flexible gather spaces, excavation, drainage, curbs, pavements, fences, furnishings, paintings, safety surfaces, spray showers, water services, and drinking fountains. We are also seeking a Resident Engineer for the Bronx to work on a Park Reconstruction Project, that includes greenhouse and headhouse reconstruction. The Resident Engineer must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture and/or NYS Professional Engineer (PE) License, and a minimum of three (3) years construction management specialized in green infrastructure and work within the NYC boroughs.
The track record of the Resident Engineer shall have completed projects with scope complexity, budget and time issues. The RE shall prepare daily/weekly reports, calculation books, meeting minutes, payments, cost analysis, change orders, overruns, directives, etc. Prior NYC or NYS Parks experience, SWPPP, and OSHA 30 required.
Pay Rate: $60.00-$75.00/Hourly Salary. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, education, and physical work location. Job Location: On-Site in the Bronx, NY (10453).
