Position Details Position Information Position Title Research Lab Manager, DCOM - Orange Park Department DCOM BASIC SCIENCES Position Category Staff Full Time Job Description The Research Lab Manager for the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) - Orange Park is a full-time position responsible for the day to day management and oversight of the Research laboratories. This person will also assist with coordination of organizational aspects, execution of clinical trials, technical measures and duties as assigned to serve the needs of Faculty *Prior experience in a research laboratory setting Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Campus Orange Park Florida Job Duty Job Duty Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and the community at large Job Duty Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students Job Duty Work closely with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Research, Research Director(s) and other Faculty and students Job Duty Maintain supplies needed for the laboratory by acquiring quotes from sales representatives, creating purchase requests, placing orders, communicating with research administration to acquire orders, track shipments and verification of delivery, and unpacking deliveries in a timely manner Job Duty Place service requests and schedule preventative maintenance of all equipment Job Duty Coordinate with the campus safety officer on rules, regulations, record keeping and storage of chemicals associated with the DCOM-Orange Park research facilities Job Duty Oversee safety and security checklists and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment Job Duty Assure the observance of quality control management Job Duty Assist in maintaining day to day usage and responsibilities for the Laboratory Spaces and associated areas at the research building Job Duty Assist in performing experiments using techniques such as ELISA, bacterial culture, microscopy, PCR, flow cytometry, and maintenance of cell lines in culture Job Duty Preparation of media, solutions, and reagents, routine autoclave sterilization, periodic cleaning of equipment and refrigerators Job Duty Provide support and/or assistance for manuscript and grant writing as appropriate Job Duty Assure that students understand the proper care for the Research Building and the importance of a quality work environment Job Duty Duties as assigned Posting Detail Information Posting Number S04240P Job Open Date 01/06/2026 Job Close Date 04/30/2026 Open Until Filled No Special Instructions Summary About the Institution Lincoln Memorial University is a values-based learning community dedicated to providing educational experiences in the liberal arts and professional studies.
