Research and Teaching Assistant (M/F)
at the Department of Dermatology
of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice Medical University of Silesia in Katowice

Requirements
Research Field Medical sciences » Medicine Education Level Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- - doctoral degree in medical sciences,
- - license to practice medicine,
- - s pecialization degree in Dermatology and Venereology or currently undergoing specialization in Dermatology and Venereology,
- - teaching experience in conducting classes related to the academic profile of the Department of Dermatology,
- -scientific achievements -author or co-author of 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed with an 70 Impact Factor (IF) or with a total ministerial score ≥ 2300,
- - interest in conducting scientific research,
- – fluency in English,
- – for foreign nationals, proficiency in spoken and written Polish is required.
Specific Requirements
- Required documents:
- a written declaration of will to participate in the competition, addressed to the Rector,
- personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment,
- plan of scientific development,
- declaration of no criminal record,
- copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications, in particular: higher education diploma, license to practice dentistry , certificate of recognition of a foreign diploma as equivalent to a Polish diploma (if applicable),
- other documents confirming your qualifications (a list of publications with IF scores, ministerial scores, certificates held, etc.)
- Required statements:
- statement of consent to process the personal data,
- a statement declaring that if the applicant wins the competition, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice will be the primary place of employment , according to the Law on Higher Education and Science,
- statement of:
- having full legal capacity,
- enjoying full public rights,
- not being convicted of an intentional crime or intentional fiscal offence by a valid sentence,
- not being punished with a disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science;
declarationofno other citizenship than one of the Republic of Poland and no residence in countries other than the Republic of Poland and country of citizenship during the last 20 years, pursuant to art. 21 par. 4 and 5 of the Act on the prevention of sexual violence and protection of the minors.

- The University reserves the right not to adjudicate the competition without giving any reason.
- The result of the competition is not tantamount to the employment of the candidate, but constitutes a recommendation in this respect to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
- The candidate selected through the competition process will be required to enter into a separate agreement prohibiting them from engaging in activities competitive with the University.
