Research Analyst / Transition Investing Analyst
We are looking for a candidate who has Bachelors/Masters in Finance or related fields as well as relevant work experience, to join CRISIL’s Financial Research services team supporting top European investment research and advisory company.
The Research Analyst / Transition Investing Analyst would be particularly responsible for:
- Working on regular research publications – earnings previews, reviews, event updates, flash notes
- Working on research publications and contributing to product development across areas such as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), AI technologies, data centers, and other emerging topics
- Writing research publications with limited supervision
- Keeping a track of latest developments in the companies under coverage and the sector
- Conducting independent company-specific, economic, or trend analysis
- Carrying out sector analysis, and coming up with investment themes/ideas
- Creation and maintenance of databases using data from different sources
- Responding to client inquiries with respect to designated coverage areas
Desired skillset:
- Good understanding of financial markets, accounting standards and macroeconomic concepts
- Good understanding of emerging themes shaping business strategy and the financial sector, including AI technologies, data centers, sustainability challenges, and evolving market trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) with ability to draft research reports
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive approach, strong team player
Additional assets:
- Experience in working with databases such as Datastream, Eikon, Bloomberg, FactSet or Haver
- Ability to implement automation and time-saving solutions to existing processes
- Working towards industry licences or designations (i.e. CFA, FRM).
