Regulatory Reporting Accountant
Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, this role is responsible for ensuring the firm meets its regulatory reporting obligations.
Given the broad nature of their set up, you will have full scope to select the areas where your experience is strongest and build on your previous expertise. Equally, you’ll also have the opportunity if you wish to gain some exposure in any additional topics or reporting requirements.
There is a fairly flat structure here and team members are encouraged to cross-train and gain knowledge in any area that takes their interest.
Your contribution can be in any of the below diverse areas;
- Statistical Reporting
- FinRep delivery
- CoRep Reporting
- CCR & AnaCredit
- FRTB
- NSFR, LCR & Pillar III
- Monitoring & Reporting on Capital levels between subsidiaries
The Role
- Preparation, review and submission of regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Ownership of all wholesale loans and Trade finance data to ensure accurate and timely reporting across all regulatory reporting. Including Counterparty and product expansion, Data sourcing/mapping, Reporting framework enhancements, Capital monitoring and supervisory engagement.
- Engaging with the other functions (including Financial Reporting, Front Office, Treasury & Risk Management) to ensure that all information required for the completion of regulatory reporting returns is received on a timely and accurate basis.
- Responsible for ensuring that the regulatory reporting system Axiom is from end to end as automated as possible and linked accurately into processes and procedures.
- Correspondence with the CBI on an ad hoc basis on issues raised around regulatory return submissions.
Your Background
Strong experience in regulatory reporting, treasury or financial reporting in a banking/financial services organisation.
Good knowledge and understanding of European banking regulations, industry best practices, emerging issues & developments in regulatory reporting and compliance.
Track record of preparing any prudential and statistical regulatory returns.
Experience of working with automated regulatory reporting software – previous exposure to Adenza’s Axiom SL would be an advantage.
Ideally Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
