Regulatory And Compliance Specialist

Company Description Alok Masterbatches Ltd is a leading provider of innovative, reliable, and high-quality masterbatch solutions for the plastics industry. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regulatory and Compliance Specialist based in New Delhi. The specialist will monitor, interpret, and implement relevant national and international regulations and standards affecting masterbatches and plastic applications, including product safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date compliance documentation, safety data sheets, technical datasheets, and certifications for all relevant products and processes. The role will involve partnering with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams to ensure new and existing products meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications. The specialist will also coordinate internal audits, support external audits and inspections, provide compliance training, and recommend process improvements to reduce regulatory risk.

Qualifications Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards relevant to plastics and chemicals (e.g., REACH, RoHS, food-contact regulations, environmental and occupational safety standards). Experience in compliance documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS), technical datasheets, declarations of conformity, and product labeling requirements. Background in quality management systems and audits, preferably with familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and health and safety standards.

Ability to interpret technical and legal documents, conduct regulatory research, and translate requirements into clear internal guidelines and procedures. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and interaction with customers and regulatory bodies. Prior experience in the plastics, chemical, or materials industry, especially in regulatory, compliance, or quality roles, is preferred.
