Base pay: $45.00/hr - $47.00/hr.

• Start Date: 12/15
• Shifts: 1300-2100 and 1200-2030 rotating

• Requirements:
  • DC License in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Completion of at least one travel assignment
  • BLS Certification
  • Flu vaccine required
• Experience:
  • Care and management of ports
  • Central Line/Implanted Line Care
  • Starting IVs
  • Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS)
  • Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury, Hemorrhage
  • Sepsis, Spinal Cord Compression
  • Neutropenic precautions
  • Tracheostomy care/management
  • External Radiation therapy (Teletherapy)
  • Radiation safety precautions
  • Wound Care
  • Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea
  • Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy
  • Oncology experience is a plus
• Preferred Skills: Radiation Oncology
• Office Duties:
  • Chart Preparation
  • Disability Form
  • Pharmacy Calls
  • Telephone triage
• Primary Diagnoses: Primarily Cancer Patients
• Special Procedure: Radiation Treatment Center
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and support to patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Education, skincare/wound care
  • Assessment of radiation toxicity and social needs
  • Consult with attending physician, resident, or emergency services as needed
• Charting: Cerner
