Registered Nurse
Tea-Cup Cottage
Job Description
Make a real difference at a critical time in someone’s life.
Tea Cup Cottage is launching an innovative Supported Transition for Elderly Patients (STEP) and Supported Transition Accommodation for You (STAY) program — a unique initiative providing emergency placement and transition support for vulnerable Australians. We’re seeking compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses to join our pioneering team, with both full-time and casual positions available.
About Tea Cup Cottage
Tea Cup Cottage is a trusted local provider with deep community connections, known for delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Our mission is to empower individuals and families through safe, trusted and personalised transition experiences — from respite to independence — delivered by a local team who genuinely know and value every person.
About the STEP Program
STEP represents the next evolution in patient care, bridging the critical gap between hospital discharge, emergency placement and permanent care or supported independence. The STEP facility offers:
- A calm, home-like setting - clinical patient support without the institutional feel
- Emergency and short-term placements - while permanent care is arranged
- A boutique 4-5 client capacity - allowing truly personalised, relationship-based care
This is a rare opportunity to work in an intimate setting where quality of care and dignity come first.
