Job Description

Sourcify Pty Ltd As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while working collaboratively with the healthcare team. Key responsibilies: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with professional standards, clinical guidelines and patient needs.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs, medical histories and health conditions. Administer medications, injections, immunisations and other treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners. Assist medical practitioners with clinical procedures, examinations and treatment plans.

Develop, implement and review patient care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes. Provide health education, disease prevention advice and ongoing support to patients and their families. Monitor patient progress, identify changes in health status and escalation concerns when necessary.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, reports and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Coordinate referrals, follow-up care and multidisciplinary healthcare services to support continuity of care. Participate in infection prevention and control activities and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Support chronic disease management programs and preventive healthcare initiatives. Contribute to quality improvement activities and maintain compliance with relevant nursing and healthcare regulations. Requirements: Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor of Nursing or higher qualification, or an equivalent overseas nursing qualification recognised in Australia. Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Minimum of 1โ€“2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a general practice, primary healthcare, community health, hospital, or similar clinical setting.

Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and vaccinations, provide wound care, and maintain accurate clinical records. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while complying with infection control, clinical governance, and professional nursing standards.
