Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse – Part - Time / Per Diem

Per Deim - Part-Time - Weekdays, Evenings, Nights and Weekends

Manchester Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to join our collaborative, high-performing nursing team.

Schedule

  • Per diem/Part-Time

  • Days, Evening, Nights and Weekend opportunities.

  • Every other weekend required

Position Responsibilities

The RN Charge Nurse provides direct resident care while leading and supporting the CNAs, LPNs, and nursing personnel assigned to the unit.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing compassionate, resident-centered nursing care

  • Supervising, mentoring, and holding nursing staff accountable

  • Monitoring residents and promptly responding to changes in condition

  • Administering medications and treatments accurately and timely

  • Ensuring complete and accurate clinical documentation

  • Coordinating care with providers, rehabilitation, and other departments

  • Supporting staff education and professional development

  • Promoting resident dignity, safety, and quality of life

  • Contributing positively to a respectful, dependable, and team-oriented workplace

Qualifications

  • Only committed, dependable nurses who take pride in their work should apply.

  • Current Connecticut Registered Nurse license in good standing

  • Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills

  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and clinical excellence

  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred
