Registered Nurse (Rankin Court Treatment Centre) - St Vincent's Public Hospital, Sydney
Role title: Registered Nurse (Year 2 - 8)
Role type: Permanent full time
Department and location: Rankin Court Treatment Centre, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst
Responsibilities- Deliver safe medication administration, comprehensive assessments and person‑centred care coordination to support recovery.
- Contribute to quality improvement, shared care initiatives and service development within a supportive Alcohol and Drug Service.
- Registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary drug and alcohol team, with high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clinical experience in drug and alcohol services, preferably within an Opioid Treatment Program, and ability to integrate theoretical knowledge, clinical assessment, critical thinking and evidence‑based practice.
- Experience in care coordination and case management for clients with complex drug and alcohol, mental health, physical health and psychosocial needs, including assessment, risk management, treatment planning, referral, advocacy and multidisciplinary follow‑up.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise competing responsibilities within a complex, high‑volume outpatient drug and alcohol service.
