Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse at Mary Andrews Village in South Hurstville, you will provide compassionate clinical care that enriches the health and wellbeing of our residents. You will meet complex needs, nurture meaningful connections, and contribute to a vibrant, supportive community that enhances residents’ independence, dignity and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care, including medication administration according to personalised care plans.
- Develop and evaluate care plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
- Build trusting, genuine relationships with residents and their families while providing emotional support.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations.
- Lead and mentor care team members to promote best practices in aged care and ensure a safe, clean environment for all.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Nursing degree.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care needs.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
