Registered/ Enrolled Nurse

Orange Square Medical is seeking an experienced and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our friendly, busy general practice team.

Key responsibilities

• Providing high-quality nursing care in a general practice environment
• Immunisations and maintaining accurate Australian Immunisation Register records
• Wound care, dressings and removal of sutures
• Health assessments and chronic disease management
• ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures
• Assisting doctors with minor procedures
• Cold-chain monitoring, infection control and stock management
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
• Supporting accreditation and continuous quality improvement activities
• Providing patient education and follow-up care

About you

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
• Previous general practice or primary healthcare experience is preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Immunisation certification or willingness to obtain it
• Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Sound computer skills; experience with Best Practice software is desirable
• A professional, respectful and patient-focused approach
