The Registered Dental Assistant will provide essential support to multiple dentists, including general dentists and specialists, in a busy dental practice. This role involves a balanced combination of clinical and administrative duties, including patient preparation, chairside assistance, radiographic imaging, sterilization, and record maintenance. The assistant will also contribute to some laboratory tasks and help ensure smooth appointment coordination, enhancing overall patient care and clinic efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures
• Provide chairside assistance during treatments
• Perform radiographic imaging regularly
• Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment setup
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Coordinate patient appointments and workflow
• Support multiple dentists including specialists
• Assist with some laboratory tasks related to dental care

Required Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
• Proficiency in chairside assistance and patient care
• Experienced in dental radiography and sterilization techniques
• Strong skills in record keeping and communication
• High attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dental assisting
• Dental Assistant Certification
