Regional Senior Financial Analyst The mission of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is to foster strong communities by supporting access to quality, affordable housing, expanding the housing supply, and unlocking homeownership opportunities for the American people. This position is located in the Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD). CPD seeks to develop viable communities by promoting integrated approaches that provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for low and moderate-income persons. The primary means toward this end is the development of partnerships among all levels of government and the private sector, including for-profit and non-profit organizations. As a Regional Senior Financial Analyst, you will: Serve as an expert-level resource on their Regional Management Team on matters relating to financial management issues. Identify \'Best Practices\' among grantees and serve as a catalyst to export those \'Best Practices\' whenever/wherever it is possible to do so. Develop regional and nationwide technical assistance strategies, work plans, and performance measures used in providing technical assistance services.
Maintain financial status records and be well versed in all aspects of financial management systems grantees use to receive HUD funds and report their utilization, including IDIS, DRGR and LOCCS. Responsible for the analyses of financial reports, periodic statements and balance sheets from local entities receiving HUD assistance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
